Peggy M Liao, MD, is a fellowship trained pediatric ophthalmologist. She has been caring for local keikis’ eyes for over 25 years.
She went to Brown University for her undergraduate education, where she graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in chemistry. She completed her medical school education residency training in ophthalmology at Yale University School of Medicine. She then advanced her training by completing a fellow ship program in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital. She is an experienced and caring physician who will put your child at ease while performing her detailed eye examination. Dr. Liao welcomes new patients and is interested in treating all eye conditions in babies, children and adolescents, including strabismus (mis-aligned eyes), amblyopia (lazy eye), refractive errors (near sightedness, far sightedness and astigmatism), tear duct blockage and others. She is also experienced in treating adults with strabismus.
